This poster is a tribute to the vintage 12 volt sticker logo found on the inside of old volkswagens. The 12 volt battery was first introduced with Volkswagen vehicles in the mid 1960s. Until then, you could only run 6 volt batteries in aircooled Volkswagens. It was a feature that allowed more power and options in the vehicles. Many people convert their 6 volt automobiles to 12 volt in the Volkswagen community.
